Frequently Asked Questions
I'm in a hurry - can I get my dry cleaning back the same day?
Yes! We offer an express service — same-day dry cleaning. Drop off your items Mon–Fri between 8–11 at Mustamäe Pesupanda and pick them up the same day by 16. The express surcharge is 5 € per item. Not available for carpets, mattress covers, and down items, which require longer drying time.
What's the difference between dry cleaning and laundry service?
Dry cleaning uses no water - special solvents are used that don't shrink fabric or cause colour loss. It's suited for suits, coats, dresses, and woollen items. Laundry service means washing with water -suited for bed linen, towels, T-shirts, and everyday clothing. Some items can be cleaned either way — our specialist always chooses the best method.
How long does dry cleaning take?
Standard dry cleaning takes 1–3 working days.If you need it sooner, we offer an express service: drop off items Mon–Fri between 8–11 at Mustamäe Pesupanda (Aiandi 4/1, Mustamäe, Tallinn, 12915) and pick them up the same day by 16:00. Surcharge 5 € per item.
How much does dry cleaning a jacket cost?
Dry cleaning and pressing a jacket, suit jacket, tuxedo, or tailcoat costs €9.50 per piece. The price includes both cleaning and professional pressing.
How much does wedding dress cleaning cost?
Wedding dress dry cleaning costs €35.00 per piece. Please bring the dress as soon as possible after the wedding so that stains (champagne, soil, drinks, sweat) don't set into the fabric.
Is stain removal included in the price or charged separately?
Yes, standard stains are removed within the cleaning price. Depending on the type and age of the stain, however, not all stains can be fully removed - especially old, set-in, or fibre-damaging stains.
Does Pesupanda also clean leather and fur garments?
No. For leather coats, leather jackets, bags, and fur items, we recommend turning to a provider specialising in that field.
Can you also clean footwear?
No, we don't offer footwear cleaning. We recommend turning to a specialised provider.
Can all stains definitely be removed?
Honest answer: not always. Set-in stains (mould, old blood, candle dye, old grease) cannot always be fully removed. The fresher the stain, the greater the chance of success. We recommend bringing items to us as soon as possible after staining and letting us know what the stain is.
Can I bring items without care labels?
Yes, but at your own risk. Care labels tell us which cleaning method is safe for the fabric. If the label is missing or torn out, we assess the material based on our experience, but cannot guarantee a perfect result.
Do you also offer a courier service?
Yes! The courier comes to you and brings the clean clothes back. See more:pesupanda.ee/en/order-laundry-delivery.
I've already tried to remove the stain at home - can you still help?
Do bring the item in, but make sure to tell us at drop-off that you've treated the stain yourself and with what. Home treatment can set the stain into the fibre or bleach the fabric, which limits our options. The more we know about the pre-treatment, the better we can choose the right cleaning approach.
How often should clothes be dry cleaned?
There's no scientific standard — it depends on how often you wear the item and the material. For outerwear, 1–2 times per season is usually enough: clean winter clothes right after the cold season passes so dirt doesn't set in, and a fresh garment will be waiting in your wardrobe come autumn. Suits don't need cleaning after every wear — too frequent dry cleaning wears out the fabric. A few times per season is usually enough, or whenever a stain or odour appears. Dress shirts are typically worn for up to two days.
